1. About Horizons Language

Horizons Language is an educational language-learning platform offering interactive stories, roleplays, flashcards, tests, drills, games and related learning materials. The current public site does not offer paid subscriptions or direct lesson checkout.

2. Educational use

Learners may use the platform for personal language learning. Teachers may display and use the live platform during lessons and guided learning activities.

Unless written permission is given, users may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape, bulk-download, redistribute or commercially exploit Horizons source files, original exercise databases, interactive logic, original educational text, branding or original visual design.

3. Accounts and submissions

Horizons currently does not require a public user account for ordinary access. Some activities allow learners to submit results to the tutor’s learning-record workflow. Users must not submit unlawful content, sensitive personal information, impersonation data or malicious payloads.

4. Third-party names, trademarks and media

Some educational sections refer to well-known books, films, fictional worlds, sports competitions, teams, historical events and other third-party subjects. Third-party names, trademarks, logos, images and media remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement of Horizons Language.

Horizons claims rights only in its own original educational content, code, design, structure, compilation and branding, subject to all rights that may exist in third-party material. Rights holders may contact horizons.idioms@gmail.com with a specific concern.

5. External services and links

The platform may include links, embeds or resources from third-party services. Horizons does not control every third-party website or service and is not responsible for external content, availability, security practices or privacy practices.

6. Availability and changes

Horizons may update, improve, replace, remove or reorganise activities and sections. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting changes, third-party service issues or technical problems.

7. No professional advice

Horizons provides language-learning and educational materials. The platform does not provide legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice.

8. Responsible use

Users must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, inject malicious code, interfere with result-submission systems, or use automated systems in a way that harms platform availability.

9. Limitation and mandatory rights

Horizons is provided on an educational basis and reasonable efforts are made to maintain accuracy and availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

10. Applicable law

To the extent legally applicable, these terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without limiting mandatory consumer, privacy or other rights that may apply based on the user’s location.
