Read, listen, or speak your way through a realistic car-rental pickup in Florence before a road trip through Tuscany. Choose or say the reply you would actually use in Italian.
Some replies are clear, calm, and practical. Others confuse rental vocabulary, misunderstand the deposit or deductible, ignore fuel rules, miss pre-existing damage, misunderstand a ZTL warning, or accept a car with the wrong transmission.
When communication breaks down, repair it with phrases such as: “Mi scusi, non ho capito bene”, “Quindi è un blocco temporaneo, giusto?”, “Mi può spiegare con un esempio?”, “Possiamo controllare insieme?”, “Credo ci sia un problema…” and “Può ripetere l’ultima parte, per favore?”. At the end, review your result and submit it to your teacher/tutor.
First listen to the Italian speaker. Then press the microphone and say the answer you want to use. The system will transcribe your Italian and match it to the closest option.
