You can recover by using repair language such as: “Sorry, my bad…”, “Just to check…”, “Could you run that by me one more time?” and “I’m by the corner of…”. At the end, review your result and submit it to your teacher/tutor.
- You requested a rideshare in downtown Austin, but the pickup area is busy. There are hotel entrances, bus stops, traffic, and more than one person waiting.
- You need to explain exactly where you are, confirm the car and destination, respond to traffic options, and choose a safe drop-off point near the entrance.
